Roy Upton has been working professionally as an herbalist since 1981.
He is the president of the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia, co-founder and past president of the American Herbalists Guild, and is trained in Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Western herbal traditions.
Roy is a specialist in herbal medicine quality control, an internationally respected lecturer, and avid writer with more than 60 academic publications.
He is visiting faculty of Universities in California, Arizona, Iran, and China and is a member of numerous expert advisory and review committees.
